My Little Red Wagon

wagon

We all pull little red wagons.

Filled

with

junk.

Fears.

Worries.

Concerns.

Anger.

Hate.

Some wagons have more junk than others.

The burdens we pull behind us

wherever we go.

Always pulling

heavy

loads.

Some may think,

If I throw my burdens into another wagon

mine will be light.

Sometimes it happens without knowing

it happened.

But

throwing a burden into another wagon

just weighs down both wagons.

For some of us,

it’s a slow

long

lesson

to learn.

But once learned,

never

ever forgotten.

Now I pray,

I hope,

I try to lighten other people’s wagons.

And I pray,

I hope,

I try not to add burdens to anyone’s

wagon.
