Work in Progress

I’m not perfect

this I know.

I’m in process –

room to grow.

The right words

I seldom find

the wrong words

come all the time.

Please be patient

with this girl you see

for she is still

learning how to be.

  1. Ah interesting! I don’t think we ever to stop learning how to be. Just when you’ve figured it out, you turn 20, 40, 65 and it all starts all over again! Who am I now?

  2. I will never be a finished product – at least not while on this earth. There is a cute cross stitch my mom did for me that I need to look for – it says, “Please be patient. God isn’t finished with me yet.” That’s what I thought of when I wrote this. I really need to search out that cross stitch!
