They certainly don’t! 🙂 And our closest ones should be our heroes really. Because what do we really know about anyone else, especially celebrities, most are probably a bunch of illusionists. And we turn them into heroes in our silly minds! Well said – and does your hero know!? 😀
I think it’s sad when our parents aren’t our heroes. I mean, there’s that time called teenage years where they probably aren’t. But really, I think this is supposed to be how it goes. We should be able to look at our (imperfect) parents and think, “I want to be just like them.”
My personal opinion is that’s part of a big problem in society. Parents aren’t heroes. And that’s just sad.
And yes, my hero knows – he just doesn’t see it in himself 😀
