Eve walked in the garden

enjoying the sights all around

when she stopped

and listened

to a very unique sound.

Chirrrrp, chirrrp, chirp,

chirpety chirp

whistled the bird

that she heard.

Eve wanted to make the sound, too

so what did she do?

She hummed along

so she wouldn’t get it wrong

until she found the melody

and created harmony.

Adam walked in the garden

enjoying the sights all around

when he stopped

and listened

to a very familiar sound.

Thumpity, thump, thumpity thump,

thumpity thump, thumpity thump

galloped the horse

in its course.

Adam wanted to make the sound, too

so what did he do?

He bent down

and tapped the ground

with his hands and feet

and he created a beat.

That night when the two travelers

returned to their home

they shared their

new talent

they learned on their own.

First chirpety chirp

then thumpity thump, thumpity thump.

They started to overlap each other

as each turn grew shorter.

Eve humming the melody along

Adam thumping the beat strong

and this,

this was the birth of the song.
